The dashboard

Your dashboard shows where your numbers came from, how fresh and how trustworthy they are, and every KPI you’ve chosen to track — laid out the way you want.

At the top: where your numbers came from

The dashboard header names the company and its data source, and a status card tells you the state of your data at a glance — for example No provider connected, Connected but never synced, Synced with warnings, Failed sync, or Stale data. Before trusting any figure, check this card.

Beside it, small tiles show:

  • Sync status and Last synced
  • The Report period and Provider
  • Data confidence, out of 100 — how completely your accounts are mapped
  • Mapping review — how many accounts are waiting for you. See Account mapping.

Briefing and KPIs

A toggle switches the dashboard between Briefing — your plain-English CFO diary — and KPIs, your figures. Select View formulas to see exactly how any figure was calculated.

Pocket-CFO’s KPI library holds 100 definitions across five areas — finance, sales, projects, inventory, and workforce — and you can add your own with custom KPIs.

Make it yours

Select Customize dashboard or Edit layout to show, hide, reorder, or configure panels, then Save layout. Restore default layout puts everything back.

Panels available include:

  • Alerts and actions — the recommendations that need you
  • Tax and compliance summaries
  • Monthly recurring revenue, once you’ve configured it
  • The KPI catalog and your custom KPIs
  • A CSV import and monthly grid for figures that don’t come from your ledger
  • Recent calculations and notes on any partial data

How figures are calculated

Every figure on the dashboard is calculated by Pocket-CFO’s own backend code in whole cents and basis points, the same way every time. No AI model is involved in any calculation — the same books always produce the same numbers.
